    Experience the Unique Mediterranean Blend from the Carmel Winery

    Aged in small French oak barrels for 15 months, left unfined, and only coarsely filtered, the Carmel Mediterranean is the highly successful and extremely exclusive result of Lior Lacser’s unique vision. He created an exceptional blend of five grape varieties, incorporating 37% Carignan, 26% Shiraz, 20% Petit Verdot, 15% Petit Sirah, and 2% Viognier for an experience that offers a true taste of Israel.

    Carmel Wine Limited Edition has a fruity nose including raspberries, plums, cranberries, and cassis, as well as velvety and near sweet tannins. The palate offers similar notes along with a taste of milk chocolate, cedar box, warm spices, tobacco leaf, and earthy forest floor, which combine to create a well balanced medley of flavors that truly personify the Eretz Zavat Chalav U’Dvash.

    Carmel Winery’s Kayoumi Vineyard

    Carmel Winery also offers bottles from its exclusive Kayoumi Vineyard. A boutique winery located in the Upper Galilee, Kayoumi produces elegant wines that are full of flavor. The Carmel Kayoumi Cabernet Sauvignon is a dry red wine that features soft tannins and a classic touch of blackcurrant along with hints of tobacco and Eastern spices.

    The Carmel Kayoumi Shiraz has a unique taste that goes well with Mediterranean chicken stew or any spicy beef, veal, or chicken dish. It offers a nose of autumn leaf and plum, a taste of spicy blackberry and anise, and soft, supple tannins that result in a drawn-out finish.
