Barkan Reserve Red Wines for an Old World Palette
The Barkan Reserve collection is so named due to its wine being among the brand's most premium varietals. At Jwines, our selection includes Barkan Reserve red wines such as a Barrel Aged Pinotage, Shiraz & Cabernet Sauvignon as well as special Barkan Reserve Altitude Sauvignon, including the award-winning +412 and +624 varieties.
Of course, The Barkan Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is the standout here. This particular Cabernet Sauvignon from Barkan seeks to offer complexity and finesse instead of overpowering sweetness or the heaviness of an oak barrel fermentation. It is a ripe, but never jammy, wine with a rich blackberry and black cherry aroma and a refreshing herbal note. This Barkan wine is best when paired with a full flavored meat or thickly sauced chicken dishes.

The Barkan Classic Sauvignon Blanc is made from a world-renowned grape variety, which is known for its cultivation in warm areas and the creation of relatively acidic wines. Barkan wine utilizes the fruit to produce cold fermented wines that preserve both freshness and their bold fruit characteristics. The grapes, which are from Galilee, are blended with those from Tel Safit to create a complex wine with a wide array of aromas-from fresh mown grass to cranberry and mango. Pairing wonderfully with poultry and fish dishes, the Barkan Classic Sauvignon Blanc retains delicate passion fruit, nectarine, and green apple flavors.
