From one of Israel's oldest wineries (founded in 1870), Teperberg Samson Merlot 2010 displays the best characteristics of Israel's Mediterranean climate and rich soils. Sourced from the Dir Rafat vineyard, it is aromatically complex showing red fruits, cigar box and hints of oak. The palate is rounded and intense, with blueberry and toast flavors carrying through to the long finish. A great wine to serve at a barbeque, it also complements red-sauced pastas and roast chicken.
It is medium bodied with smooth texture and is complimented by hints of spice and oak.
