The Shiloh winery began operations in 2005 in a state-of-the art facility overlooking the breathtaking views of the Benjamin strip. Under the direction of master winemaker Amichai Luria, Shiloh's wines have already won an impressive array of national and international awards - establishing the brand as one of the most exciting and promising in Israeli wine. Shiloh Legend is Luria's boundary-breaking red blend of 45% Shiraz, 40% Petite Sirah, 9% Petit Verdot and 6% Merlot. Rich and earthy, the wine has a stunning purple color and firm tannins. Aged for 16 months in oak barrels (8 months with the blending elements separate and 8 together), the characteristics of plum, cocoa, leather, mint and spice harmonize beautifully. Decant for an hour before opening if possible, and serve with beef bourgignon, Moroccan lamb tagine or an aged English cheddar cheese.
