In Pacifica Pinot Noir, the complex wonders of Oregon Pinot Noir are at last available to kosher wine connoisseurs. Many critics and Pinot-philes are convinced that Oregon, not California, is the source of the greatest Pinot Noir outside of Burgundy, and Pacifica is a strong argument in favor of this claim. Made from grapes sourced from the cool Willamette Valley and the warmer Hood River Valley this bottling combines a deep and spicy complexity with ripe, generous red berry and cherry characteristics. With perfect acid balance, this pairs wonderfully with game birds, salmon or caramelized onion quiche.
Light meats,chicken or cheese dishes.
Ripe berry fruit with hints of black cherry, along with minerally and earthy overtones. Quite long in length and depth.
