Opening with Psagot Chardonnay, a Chardonnay that is rich without being too oaky, we are confident that these selections will create many new fans of fine Israeli wines. We’ve also included Shiloh Barbera, evidence of winemaker Amichai Luria’s total mastery of his trade. The wine is light but intense, with perfect balance and electrifying red fruit flavors. Finally, Tishbi Estates Cabernet Sauvignon shows what happens when Israel’s finest Cabernet grapes are vinified in one of its most historic wineries--a deep, complex red that can be drunk now or cellared and allowed to develop. These wines are at their best alongside a prime grilled steak or spicy Mediterranean stew.
