If you like good Merlot, you will love Ha Sod Carmenere. Carmenere is a close relative of Merlot and is in fact one of the six sanctioned grapes in the red wines of Bordeaux. But it tends to be a bit spicier and earthier, and it is beginning to catch on around the world in a "leading role" in red blends, most prominently in Chile. See what everyone is talking about with a bottle of Ha Sod Carmenere, a wine that features accessible notes of raspberry, strawberry and cedar, with an intriguing edge of clove and well-integrated oak. It is delicious at barbeques, or paired with hanger steak and potato gaufrettes.

The wine starts off with raspberry, plum, cranberry, and a distinct floral attack. The mouth is soft and medium in body with sour cherry, blackcurrant, integrated tannin, and a round mouth that makes for a very food friendly wine. The finish is long and spicy with nice herb, earth notes, black pepper, and vanilla.
