This tight but promising, dense, purple-colored wine offers a sweet nose of plums, smoke, licorice, and cassis. The wine is medium to full-bodied, and possesses a sweet attack and layered personality. This is one of the first vinifications of a Bordeaux wine conducted by the highly respected Umbrian oenologist, Riccardo Cotarella.
Fricassee de pulette (braised chicken with mushrooms and peas).
Plum and vanilla character with light lemongrass on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, with good fruit and a fresh, clean finish.
